Kapil Kher is a technology executive and AI-driven transformation leader, currently serving as CIO at the U.S. Green Building Council. With over 20 years of experience, he specializes in leveraging AI and AI-assisted development to accelerate product innovation, modernize platforms, and build intelligent, scalable digital ecosystems.
He has led enterprise-wide digital transformations that integrate AI, automation, and cloud technologies to enhance customer experience, speed to market, and operational performance. As SVP of IT at AVIXA, he advanced the digital strategy behind InfoComm, elevating technology-driven engagement for one of the largest trade shows. Earlier, he held senior leadership roles at Cisco and Tandberg, driving innovation at global scale.
Passionate about the intersection of AI and live experiences, Kapil serves on the Board of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), helping shape the future of technology-enabled events.
