Carlos Cardenas joined DelCor in 2025 as a Senior Strategic Consultant, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning IT, operations, and organizational strategy in the nonprofit and association space. He works closely with DelCor clients to deliver the following CIO-level services:

• Governance and organizational alignment
• Data strategy and stewardship
• Change management and cross-departmental engagement
• IT team structure, recruitment, and retention
• Budget planning and resource optimization

A former U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant, Mr. Cardenas is known for his systems thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to translate complex technology challenges into actionable solutions that align with a client’s mission and member value.

Mr. Cardenas is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and a proud alum of ASAE’s Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP). He previously served as Chair of ASAE’s Technology Professionals Advisory Council and is a founding board member of Association Latinos NFP. Mr. Cardenas frequently speaks on innovation, data, and emerging technology trends in the association sector. He holds a B.S. in Organizational Management from Purdue Global.
